Sparta Diamonds Tryouts

If your daughter is interested in trying out for the 2025/26 Softball Season, please fill out the registration form and choose one of the two available tryout dates.  After tryouts are completed, rosters will be formed and you will be notified as to whether or not your daughter will be invited to one of the teams.  

There will be a $100 tryout deposit that is due at registration.  If your daughter is invited to a roster and that spot is accepted, your deposit will be applied to the first registration payment for the Spring Season. Your deposit will be returned if your daughter did not make one of the teams or you decline a position on the team.  After accepting a position, deposits become non refundable if you change your mind.

TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD AT UNGERMAN FIELD (12 Woodport Rd Sparta, NJ)

TRYOUT DATES:

June 26 OR July 1:

10U: 5:30pm - 7:30pm

14U: 7:30pm - 8:30pm

June 24 OR June 30: 

8U: 5:30pm - 7:00pm

12U: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Please note the new USA Softball age eligibility guidelines for the 2026 season that we will be following: 

• 8-Under Age Classification...A player whose 9th birthday is prior to September 1, 2025, is INELIGIBLE. 
• 10-Under Age Classification...A player whose 11th birthday is prior to September 1, 2025, is INELIGIBLE. 
• 12-Under Age Classification...A player whose 13th birthday is prior to September 1, 2025, is INELIGIBLE. 
• 14-Under Age Classification...A player whose 15th birthday is prior to September 1, 2025, is INELIGIBLE.
