NorthWest Jersey Spring League
SPARTA DIAMONDS - TRAVEL
Spring Rec. Divisions run beginning of April through Mid-June:
Farm: Pre-K and Kindergarten
Rookie: 1st and 2nd Grade
Minors: 3rd - 5th Grade
Majors: 6th - 8th Grade
*Farm level will have one practice/game on Saturday mornings.
*Rookie level will have one practice during the week AND a game on Saturdays
*Minors and Majors levels will play games

*Minors and Majors levels will play games against nearby towns (Rockaway, Denville, and Jefferson) and you will need to travel there.There will be one practice and 1-2 games per week.
Bats and helmets are provided, players may choose to purchase their own. Players are responsible for purchasing their own gloves and cleats.

The Sparta Diamonds are a town travel softball program. We have different age groups consisting of 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. The Diamonds play in the Northwest Jersey Spring League and in multiple tournaments in Northern New Jersey.

Those that make the travel teams are eligible to participate in the Fall Ball season.

REFUND POLICY
Sparta Youth Softball operates as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We keep registration costs as low as possible while still offering an excellent experience for players.
Prior to the season we use player registration fees to fund our operating budget, which may include uniforms, equipment, field maintenance, and league fees, among other annual expenses.
Because of this, refunds are only issued prior to January 1 for our travel teams and March 1 for our rec teams. After these dates, refunds are not issued if a player decides not participate voluntarily.
In the case of injuries that prevent the player from playing, refunds may be issued after those dates and are evaluated by the members of the Board.
By registering and paying for the season, you agree to the refund policy. Refund requests may be submitted via email to spartayouthsoftballnj@gmail.com.
