About Sparta Youth Softball
Sparta Youth Softball (SYS) is a community-based, non-profit organization providing girls ages 4 to 14 the opportunity to play organized, recreational softball. We are dedicated to teaching young ladies the fundamentals of softball in a safe and fun environment with teamwork and good sportsmanship being our top priorities. SYS is open to all girls interested in playing softball for the first time and those with prior experience looking to build on and develop the skills needed to play the game for years to come.
The Sparta Diamonds program is a competitive travel softball program that strives to create opportunities for girls ages 7 to 14 to grow into strong, confident, and resilient women through the game of softball. We help players make the step up from recreational leagues into competitive travel softball, while encouraging their participation in other sports and activities. We celebrate our successes and value the growth and learning that come from responding to challenges. Our hard-working coaches and athletes hone their skills year-round, supporting each other and developing lasting friendships and memories through it all.
Our goal is for each player to have fun while gaining knowledge of the game. Our priority is to create and maintain an environment of teamwork, honesty and fair play with a secondary importance placed on winning.
