Sparta Youth Softball- Recreation Division- Fall Ball

The season begins mid September and runs through October.

Recreation Division Levels:

Farm (T-Ball): Pre-K and Kindergarten

Rookie: 1st and 2nd Grade

Minors: 3rd - 5th Grade

Majors: 6th - 9th Grade

Here’s what you can expect:

• Sessions will be 1 to 2 hours long, depending on the age group.
• Sessions will take place every Sunday. Times and locations are to be determined, and we will provide updates as soon as they are finalized.
• The first half of each session will consist of instructional drills aimed at improving fundamental skills. We will also take a deeper dive into rules and plays. Following that, we will have an inter-team scrimmage to give players an opportunity to apply what they’ve learned in a game-like setting.

Coaches will be provided with a detailed outline of each practice, including drills and activities designed to foster both individual skill development and teamwork.
